After a hugely successful pub quiz in August, we held a second quiz on Friday 19th October at Langlands Golf Club. Despite a valiant effort, reigning champs the Easy Riders were unable to retain their title and were toppled from the top spot by Why the Long Face?, with Out to Grass in hot pursuit.

It was a close contest all the way through but Why the Long Face? overtook Out to Grass in the final round to win by a nose and claim the coveted LRC Quiz Trophy.

Newcomers the Pink Ladies, the Night Night Mares, Pinky and Perky, and Quizzy Rascals gave an impressive performance in their first outing

The event raised £160 for Wear it Pink breast cancer charity, with the‘Night Night’ mares and Pinky and Perky sharing the honours as Pinkest Teams.
